This Saturday 18th December is the time to get some serious Christmas shopping in with Harvest Textiles holding their inaugural Christmas Market with a score of local designers, makers and craftspeople selling their finest wares at the Harvest Workshop at 512 Lygon St, East Brunswick. Alongside our Two Bright Lakes stall (featuring music from our artists as well as visual artwork from Oscar Slorach Thorn, Chris Bolton and Alice Glenn) there will tons of stalls from local artists such as Elizabeth Barnett, Ceiba Tree, Ask Alice and more – many last minute Christmas present bargains to be had! 10am until 5pm, get on down…

Everyone knows the Workers Club now, the little corner bar that used to be the Rob Roy, still retaining that venue’s passion for booking great local live acts.
Well Two Bright Lakes’ resident record players Tig and Blake will be spinning records in the front bar every Thursday from 8pm til 12am, bringing you a head-nodding, foot-tapping mezcla of disco, boogie, hip hop, crooners, indie pop and soul music.
Come and join us for some music appreciation, some cheap drinks ($5 basics!) and some dancing some time soon.
